Hello all,
For those who don't keep a close eye on eBird or local email lists, I
thought that I'd provide an update on the two aforementioned species. It
was a good day to take a little detour on my way to work ;-)
Morning thru early afternoon, the adult male Black-throated Blue Warbler
continued behind the greenhouse on Pecan Grove Dr. at 29.3793, -98.4216,
which is accessed via the Southside Lions Park Trailhead in se. San
Antonio. Park at the trailhead and cross Salado Creek. Turn right onto the
dirt path and follow it to the above coordinates.
The adult Golden-crowned Warbler was loosely associating with the mixed
species flock of passerines at Lions / Shelley Park, in Refugio, between
the spillway and Kingfisher Pt. in the afternoon. It was seen by all
present between about 4:00 and 4:30 PM. The adult male Tropical Parula was
also in this same area.
