I made a morning visit to Bob Wentz/Windy Point Park yesterday. As Arman, mentioned, there were several large rafts of ducks out towards dam. For the most part, they seemed to be Gadwall and American Wigeon with several other species mixed in. Most noteworthy was a single, female Red-breasted Merganser. I also had the Brown Booby flying northwest up the channel back towards the marinas where we assume it is roosting. Most were Snow but there were a few Ross's Geese mixed in. Also a few dark morphs or Blue Geese. Both were county lifers for me and put me over 300 species in the county. I noted Redheads, Northern Shovelers and Blue-wing Teal but don't have a scope so was unable to determine what was in some of the large rafts out towards the dam.
