The weather was perfect for this morning's tour to the west side of Laguna
Atascosa NWR, Highlights included flyovers of both Greater-white-fronted
Goose and Snow Goose, the faithful Vermilion Flycatcher, Peregrine Falcon,
and a surprise Scissor-tailed Flycatcher. Good light made Sandwich Terns
easy to ID with the bright yellow tip on the bill. We were able to get 4
Sora to respond to a loud clap and Common Yellowthroats were "common".
Tours are beginning to fill up so call for reservations. 956-748-3708 X111.
Tours Thursday - Monday 8:30 - 12, Friday at 1 PM alternating between Bahia
Grande and Laguna Atascosa.
