Hello Birders, 5 visitors joined us for the Birding Van Tour of the Bahia Grande Unit of Laguna Atascosa NWR. The wind was fierce ( 22 MPH) and kept many of the birds down while the few that did appear didn't stay in view for long. We managed to tally only 29 species, a low number for this tour, but we did get excellent views of a pair of Aplomado Falcons near Tower Gate.
