Hi Texbirders,
A cold front blew in and dropped temperatures just before our walk started.
No doubt the birds were still there but they weren't showing themselves
much. Notable exceptions were the Harris's Hawks who didn't seem fazed by
the weather change at all. At one point we had six in view simultaneously
and we watched them carry them nesting material into a new location. Often
hard to see, today we got eyes on three White-eyed Vireos at one time. Go
figure that!
