A good long walk in the refuge turned up 70 species with the following
highlights: Chachalaca Trail & Willow Lakes had Northern-Beardless
Tyrannulet, Common Pauraque, and among the mixed flocks a Black-throated
Gray Warbler. Out at Pintail Lakes we saw Cinnamon Teal, Virginia Rail,
both Sedge and Marsh wrens, Vermillion Flycatcher.
We'll be back at it next Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8:30AM!
