Dismal day for birds and birders at Bahia Grande. Eastern Meadowlark were
calling, but Cassin's Sparrow remained silent and unseen.
Hoards of peeps way out with no chance of an ID but that means migration is
underway.
Pintail continues to be most abundant duck. Nice find was the Red-breasted
Mergansers.
Tours are beginning to fill up so call for reservations. 956-748-3607 X111.
Tours Thursday - Monday 8:30 - 12, Friday at 1 PM alternating between Bahia
Grande and Laguna Atascosa.
