hoards of Sandhill Crane and a blizzard of Snow Goose. I know there must be
a Ross' Goose in that flock somewhere.
White-tailed Hawk are nest building, Spring is in the air.
Highlights were the Ash-throated Flycatcher and numerous singing White-eyed
Vireo.
Tours seven days a week alternating between Laguna Atascosa
and Bahia Grande; call for reservations. 956-244-2019
Open House at Bahia Grande is this Saturday, February 13 from 10 - 2, one
of the few times this road will be open to private vehicles. You will enter
the refuge at the Red Gate on Hwy 48 and exit on Hwy 100 at the Tower Gate.
