Another tour of Laguna Atascosa NWR with surprisingly no wind today.
Highlights were Common Yellowthroat, Lincoln and Swamp Sparrow.
We were treated to a lift off of thousands of Snow Goose on the southeast
side of the lake.
Once again, we located Sprague's Pipit in the same area.
Time is getting short for this season and tours are filling up fast.
Tours seven days a week alternating between Laguna Atascosa
and Bahia Grande; call for reservations. 956-244-2019
Bayside Loop will be closing for construction the first of March so come on
out for a habitat tour soon. Tours in the open air tram at 9 AM - 12 and at
1PM - 4.
