* Redhead* 1 adult male--rusty reddish head, blackish chest, rest of
bird grayish buff, typical duck head profile--was reaching up and grabbing
plants, perhaps getting seeds, while swimming
Black-necked Stilt 2
Gull-billed Tern 3 flying over, seem to be foraging
* Black Skimmer* 1 flying over flooded field across road--pretty
unusual to see one in this spot
Mourning Dove 3
Ringed Kingfisher 1 about 1/8 mile north
Scissor-tailed Flycatcher 1
Northern Mockingbird 1
Northern Cardinal 2 pair flies by at edge of retamas
Red-winged Blackbird 2
Great-tailed Grackle 3
