[texbirds] First of Fall, Austin

Texbirders,
Watching out my window at work where I have bird baths, I just witnessed a
mixed flock whoosh through consisting of three Nashville Warblers, 1 FOF
Orange-crowned Warbler, three Blue-gray Gnatcatchers, one FOF House Wren,
one Carolina Wren, two Northern Mockingbirds, one Eastern Phoebe, six Field
Sparrows, about a dozen House Finches and five Northern Cardinals. They
showed up all at once, stayed about 15 minutes, and left as a group. This
is the first activity I've seen at the office in nearly a week and it was a
sight for sore eyes!
