Howdy Texbirders,
On arriving at Estero this morning, Ruben Rangel said he had just found a
female Wood Duck on Ibis Pond. Going to the deck found her sitting on a stump
about 50 yards from the deck. For anyone arriving in the valley and have not
been able to see their season Groove-billed Ani, we are still seeing a group of
5 or 6 from the levy, just South of Alligator Lake. Peregrine Falcon and
White-tailed Kite are also seen from about this same vantage point most
days.Bird activity and migrants are showing up daily. Hope you're seeing lots
of good birds but just in case you're not, Estero should be in your future.
...........because
 Bird for your health,
 Forget your worries,
 You'll be happier.
