Pam Kelly and I hiked and birded at Eisenhower Park today.
We saw the Canyon Wren singing loudly around the large pavilion. I also
saw him last year about this time in same area.
On the Hillview Natural Trail we found the Golden-cheeked Warbler, Black &
White Warbler, Blue-gray Gnatcatcher and Ruby-crowned Kinglet. Also saw
White-eyed Vireo in picnic area.
I've never found the Golden-cheeked at Eisenhower until last spring. I'm
wondering how if other birders have seen him there.
We usually don't have a lot of luck at Eisenhower. Maybe that's changing!!
Last spring I had more sightings that usual.
Happy Birding!!
