Good Afternoon,

Tuesday’s bird walk started off windy at the North Pond where Blue Winged
Teals, Cormorant, and great Blue Herons could be seen. A Green Kingfishers’
call can be heard by the Canal Overlook. Following the sound, the male
Green Kingfisher was seen perching on a Mesquite tree near the Canal
Overlook. A Ringed Kingfisher was seen perching on a low elevated Mesquite
tree at the North-East corner of North Pond. At Discovery pond the group
was able to see a Long and Curve billed Thrasher and discuss differences
between the both.

Happy Birding!
