[texbirds] Ebird Count

Just so I understand this....Looking at the list of birds and some of the
high numbers there are some very unusual things presented....If this is
just to be a Great Back Yard count, how are people reporting high numbers
of odd birds or high numbers far from where I know they live and in
multiple places. I mean one could rack up some numbers if I one left
their property. I guess I don't get the intent, I thought it was all about
the yard or property??.
