Today we birded Lake Madison in Madisonville. Quite birdy! Four excellent
finds, - Eagle, Rusty Blackbirds, Purple Finch, Pelican, plus other good
winter birds: (Purple Finch and Rusty Blackbirds were in the childrens'
playground area of the park - blackbirds at the edge of the water flipping
leaves)

Ruddy Duck - 12
Ring-necked Duck - 20
Am White Pelican - 1 harassing the cormorants
Bald Eagle - 1
Cardinal - 4
Savannah Sparrow - 1
Cormorants - 30 +
Bufflehead - 4
Pied-billed Grebes - 4
Yellowlegs - 1
Mockingbird - 4
E. Bluebirds - 2
Chipping Sparrow - 1
Rusty Blackbirds - 3 (2 males, 1 female)
Yellow-belllied Sapsucker - 1
Downy Woodpecker - 2
Great Egret - 2
Great Blue Heron - 2
Killdeer - 4
Am Crow - 1
