Stopped by Crystal Lake around 5:00 PM last night on my way back from Austin
hoping to see the Virginia Rail spotted by Brush.  No luck, but there were 20
Blue-winged Teal on the lake, and one surprise American Avocet.

Went back this morning with Jan about 8:00 AM.  The BW Teal and the Avocet were
gone, but after about 10 minutes two Virginia Rails waded out of the weeds and
foraged for awhile along the shore.  They were spotted out on the point near
the large clump of cattails.  Other highlights;

Belted Kingfisher                  1
Pectoral Sandpiper                3
Least Sandpiper                    2
Indigo Bunting                      2
Long-billed Dowitcher          4
Chimney Swifts                    10
Snowy Egrets                         2
