An Osprey successfully nested a number of years in the late 80s to early 90s at
Lake Houston on power poles just south of the west end of the FM1960 causeway
crossing the lake. Sometime in the late 90s HL&P replaced the poles with
non-bird-friendly ones. Don't know what happened to the Ospreys.
