Hi Texbirders,
After finding the kites yesterdasy, I wanted to get a parent feeding
them if possible. So I did my days birding out the front door...so
easy.
I looked when I got up and the 2 juvies were in plain sight again. I
got the camera and by then just one was nicely in the open at the
front of the tree about 40 feet up.

They babies were calling incessantly and soon a parent showed up to
pass off a morsel.

The parent flew off then to get some more food.
Amazing to capture these images out my front door!
