This morning, while birding Devine Lake, Brush Freeman, Sue Tichy, Karen
McBride and myself had an apparent Cassin's Kingbird <

spotted on the fenceline on the northeast side of the lake (or northwest corner
of the off leash dog area - by where the Virginia Rail was recently seen). It
flew south (toward the swampy east end of the lake and the woods) where we lost
sight of it. A kingbird identified as a Western was reported on the 7th as
well. Anyway, it still may be hanging out and any kingbird at this point in
time is noteworthy and should be studied.
