[texbirds] Brant in Lubbock

Greetings All:
A Brant was located at Whisperwood Pond (4th Street and Raleigh Avenue) in
Lubbock earlier this afternoon by Clayton (Ross) Rickett. It was subsequently
seen by Peter Barnes, Steve Collins, Anthony Hewetson, Aveline Hewetson,
Elizabeth Farley-Dawson, and Dan Dawson. Steve took approximately 500
photographs and, to our eyes, the bird appears to be of either the pale-bellied
or intermediate forms shown in Sibley.
