[texbirds] Bobolink (and other stuff) in Hale County on Saturday

Greetings All:
On Saturday, Rich Kostecke and I spent 8:10 to 12:45 in Hale County,
attempting to put him over the top for the Century Club in that currently
very damp county.

Highlights included:

1 Great Egret, 2 Snowy Egrets, 2 Cattle Egrets, 3 Spotted Sandpipers, 1
Lesser Yellowlegs, 2 Northern Rough-winged Swallows, 1 Orange-crowned
Warbler, and 1 Yellow-headed Blackbird in Abernathy.

3 Black-necked Stilts, 1 Solitary Sandpiper, 2 Lesser Yellowlegs, 7 Stilt
Sandpipers, 7 Least Sandpipers, , 1 Pectoral Sandpiper, and 2 Yellow-headed
Blackbirds at a playa just north of Abernathy.

1 Black-necked Stilt, 1 American Avocet, 1 Olive-sided Flycatcher, 1
Western Wood Pewee, 1 Willow Flycatcher, 1-2 Least Flycatcher(s), 5
Northern Rough-winged Swallows, 1 Gray Flycatcher, 1 Cordilleran
Flycatcher, 1 Eastern Phoebe, 3 House Wrens, 2 Blue-gray Gnatcatchers, 3
Orange-crowned Warblers,  2 Nashville Warblers, 3 Common Yellowthroats, 2
Yellow-rumped Warblers, 5 Wilson's Warblers, 1 Yellow-breasted Chat, and 1
Lincoln Sparrow at the Petersburg Cemetery/Dump/Sewage Ponds complex.

12 Cattle Egrets, 8 Black-necked Stilts, 21 American Avocets, 1 Greater
Yellowlegs, 1 Least Sandpiper, 1 Wilson's Phalarope, and 8 Black Terns at a
playa just north of Petersburg.

8 Northern Rough-winged Swallows and 50 Yellow-headed Blackbirds well east
of the FM 37 x FM 400 intersection.

1 Peregrine Falcon just west of the FM 37 x FM 400 intersection.

1 Olive-sided Flycatcher, 1 Least Flycatcher, 2 Say's Phoebes, 1 Cassin's
Kingbird, 2 Wilson's Warblers, and 1 adult, non-breeding plumaged BOBOLINK
at an abandoned homestead near the intersection of FM 37 and CR T.

1 Great Egret and 1 Clay-colored Sparrow just east of the intersection of
FM 37 and Interstate 27.

4 Cattle Egrets and 10 Black-necked Stilts just west of the intersection of
FM 37 and Interstate 27.
