I spent a couple hours at Laffite's Cove in Galveston midday today. There was
a nice selection of warblers - Redstarts, Orange-crowned, Wilson's, Nashville,
Magnolia, B&W, Hooded, Parula, Black-throated Green and a beautiful male
Black-throated Blue Warbler which showed up at the drip about 12:45. Other
migrants included Blue-headed, White-eyed and Philadelphia vireos, Red-breasted
Nuthatches, Gnatcatcher, many Brown Thrashers, Yellow-bellied Sapsucker,
Rose-breasted Grosbeak, Catbird and Indigo Bunting.
