Sighted a juvenile Black-headed Grosbeak in the backyard around 3:30 pm
today. First ever sighting in the yard. It was on the feeder with two house
finches for about 1 1/2 minutes before flying off. The best and most
unexpected bird my wife and I have ever seen in the yard in twenty five
years.
