[texbirds] Birding at Granger Lake

Hi,
Brenda and I spent about 3 hrs birding around Granger Lake, Williamson County
near Georgetown/Taylor today. Nothing unusual. Did not find any Mountain
Plovers or Burrowing Owls. Best were raptors with many
Amer Kestrels, Northern Harriers, a Red-tailed Hawk, Red-shouldered Hawk, and
Black and Turkey Vultures. Not much seen on the lake itself. No sign of any
returning Whooping Cranes.
