The same thing happens on a turf farm in Bastrop Co. the landowner (not
the leasee) is sick of it and even tho the road is marked "Private road, do
not enter" people continue to do so. I have posted on this before but am
sick of doing so, so will just those that ignore the signs take the hits
they deserve. There are two fields that can be observed from a public ROW
in Bastrop Co. One on 969 west and near 1704, and another on Lower Elgin
River Rd., but woe to anyone that enters these properties as those
landowners (Wilson & Turner) are TOTALLY not birder friendly

This particular turf farm is flanked by two paved roads which are public.
You can generally get identifiable views of target species when they are
present without having to trespass. They have two farm lanes. One gravel
and one dirt. Neither has any form of a sign on them indicating they are
public.
Reminder: Virtually all public roads have "stop signs" and
"identification signs" at appropriate intersections. An unsigned narrow
road bordered by ag fields is likely private property.
