TexBirders,
Spent most of the day yesterday (Thursday February 28th) at Bentsen
Rio Grande State Park with some friends from Alaska and Bert Frenz.
The Red-naped Sapsucker has moved slightly (North?) from its original
tree to some small (4-6 inches in diameter) willow-type trees between
the boat ramp and the bird observation blind "wall" at the resaca.
Lots of the RGV specialty birds at the various observation blinds
throughout the park.
