[texbirds] Barred Owl Riverwalk San Antonio

As Anne and I finished a late lunch Sunday, 4:30 p.m. at Landry”s Seafood 
Restaurant on the Riverwalk, San Antonio, [Bexar Co]  a Barred Own came in to 
the tree just outside the window.  Wait staff said they see it from time to 
time in that area.  They said it was there often when the domestic mallards had 
ducklings.  The best view of the roost this time was from the alcove eating 
area on the third level.  For out-of-towners, this is 517 N. Presa at the 
Riverwalk, downtown San Antonio.
