At the ranch I work at in western Travis County (Hamilton Pool Rd.), I have
been watching intently (while working of course) out my window to see any
first of fall birds that will show up.
Last week Wednesday I had a surprise visit by a Black-throated Sparrow.
They can usually be found around this area, but this was a first for my
location.
Today I had my first of fall White-crowned Sparrows and Orange-crowned
Warblers. It must be fall!
