[texbirds] Austin Question and Local Patch Challenge

Did anyone in this area experience fallout today from the storms yesterday
and overnight?
Would anyone like to join me at the Lake Creek Trail (southern Williamson
co.) on Saturday morning?
A note: I drove by the Arbor Walk pond this evening (Lake Fail) and it was
virtually empty. Swallows outnumbered visible ducks.
Patch Challenge:
First, for those of you not on Facebook, Dell Little has been updating a
checklist of all birds seen. I will gladly share it (via email), and maybe
you have seen a bird that hasn't been checked off yet.
There is also a "patch roster" being kept on Facebook if you don't know
who's in your area. Same deal as the checklist.
Also, I will put in a word for the LPC: just make a "patch" in eBird and
find some local parks for migration season. It's fun!
