I am along Buffalo Bayou in Houston. There is a massive Waxwing flock moving
widely along the bayou. Had 300 in my hackberry and ash tree at one time. My
Goldfinch numbers are down 50% from last year which was a high year for me and
now it is closer to what it was the year before. I have the usual experience
here in sapsuckers with 2 or 3 along this portion of the bayou.

But no Siskins, RB Nuthatches or Creepers, Winter Wrens or Golden-crowned
Kinglets.

Must be good food up north?
