5-15-16 SEVENTEEN warbler species @ Warbler Woods Bird Sanctuary
I just finished the cumulative lists and we ended up with 17 warbler species!!!
Almost all left by 11 a.m., but several returned, until the next rain, but one
birded until 4 pm. Thanks to all, this is amazing with such a bad birding day
for the humans! We've had .43" of rain, btw. The upper level winds were
coming from the east for most of the day.
Black-and-white Warbler, Tennessee Warbler, Nashville Warbler, Mourning
Warbler, Common Yellow-throat, American Redstart, Northern Parula, Magnolia
Warbler, Bay-breasted Warbler, Blackburnian Warbler, Yellow Warbler,
Chestnut-sided Warbler, Yellow-throated Warbler, Black-throated-green Warbler,
Canada Warbler, Wilsons Warbler, Yellow-breasted Chat
