Happy New Year Texbirders!
We had a good start to our year lists with 26 species on our 'Kick off Your
Year List' Bird Walk. Fifteen birders, led by Rob Comstock (thank you Rob!),
braved the cold and wind in search of birds. We started off with a Crested
Caracara fly over the parking lot and ended up with a good representation of
raptors. Plenty of Cedar Waxwings, Yellow-Rumps, and American Robins in the
tree tops. The Great Kiskadee and White-throated Sparrow were heard from the
tower.
Please join us for our next Bird Walk on Saturday, January 16th at 8:00am.
