Few industries are as tightly regulated as biotechnology and bioscience. For
that reason, Omeris will host the Ohio Bioscience Regulatory Forum on July 30.
The half-day seminar, to be held at the Radisson Hotel Worthington from 10:30
am ? 2:45 pm, will feature three Ohio-based experts in bioscience-related
regulation.

Gina Brackett, compliance officer at the Food & Drug Administration?s
Cincinnati District Office, will present updated information on medical device
inspections and other FDA rules affecting the medical device market. Bob Fike,
PhD, a noted expert on Japan?s bioscience regulatory environment, will discuss
that country?s bioscience regulatory reform. From Cincinnati law firm Dinsmore
& Shohl, John Jevicky will summarize what the FDA?s reexamination of electronic
records and signatures means to the industry.

Registration costs $35 for Omeris members, $50 for non-members. Lunch is
included.
