[TechAssist] zenith 9-1408 and 9-1332 modules

i have these two modules that keep taking out the regulator ic str53041. the
9-1332 said it turned blue, so i checked the tube and took out a G1 short
played about an hour ( i took a nap) and it was out again so i'm not sure
what happened. the 9-1408 customer said the first time it got white lines on
screen then went down to 1 line in middle then nothing. replaced str53041
and caps and transistor, and it came back in three hours customer said it
went down to 1 line in middle and then nothing. vertical is resoldered
checked tube had G1 short on red gun.removed short and replaced the str
again watched for 3 days and just went out the door. could i be getting bad
str's, or are the shorts coming back . does anyone know where to get good
str's.
