Replacing reguator no help Still blowing HOT. Proabbably a lighting strike
messed up the regulation feedback ???? Any PDF schematics out there?

The resistors are fine. Did find Q801 shorted. Replaced it and the set
fluxed and blew the HOT. I think the regulator, an STRS6302, I put in was in
another set that was blowing the HOT and I couldnt figure why.. so I'll
order a couple of new ones to try and see if that will resolve the
dificulty. Looking at this type of fault definately could be another
unanounced lighting victum.

check for open R837 and R838 1 ohm 1/2 watt parallel on the 140 volt line
these are current limiter resistors if one open will go into shutdown if
both open won't start
