Larry I don't know if this set is a projection or not, but one of the tubes
is bad could cause this to happen. I have just finished a Direct view 33"
Sony and was doing the same thing as yours. I cleaned up the guns with my
rejuvenator (the red gun especially) and it works good now. It won't last
long but will let the customer know may get a few more months out of it. You
might try turning up the G2 voltage a little see what happens.
