[TechAssist] sony KP43WT500 HDTV input ???

cable man is at my sister's house trying to hookup HDTV.
Cable man has a Motorola Cable Box,and is trying it on the
sony TV's Component input #6,and says it doesn't look like HDTV to him.
cable man says Sony manual says that the only HDTV input is the DVI input.
Shouldn't Component inputs 5 and 6 be HDTV as well ???
cable Box has DVI output connector,but cable man says the box doesn'y have
the DVI circuitry inside.
