Have you cleaned the mode switch? This should have been the first thing
to do.

ok here goes after watching this thing for a while it works fine untill
you
scan in reverse.put back in play and it shuts off. if you scan in
reverse
and then scan forward it plays fine so the only time it acts up is when
you
scan backwards and go back to play.doesn't make any sense to me. any
ideas
