Yes, this is 1 of the sets needing the modification (RCA bulletin TV-04003.
Remove the black degauss thermistor and replace it with the old type 207768
and also change some jumpers).  But that is not the problem here since it
will eventually come on.  One thing to remember with the ITC008 is that it
is normal for it to take 2 seconds to come on after power is pushed.
Perhaps it is coming on and you do not realize it.  John.
