[TechAssist] need help/ Memorex Moviecorder Model # 16-827

Hi fellas:
This customer came in with this 1991 moviecorder complaining that it was
dead. I open the camera and found a SMT fuse open. Replace it and now the
moviecorder goes on. The problem is the when you inset the tape the roller
guides will push the tape all the way to the video. video head start to spin
but the it stops and the roller guides goes back to its neutral position.
The excess tape stay around the video head. I try pushing Play, FF or Rewind
but nothing works. Any help will be appreciated.
