Pete,
Try the screen adjustment first. This usually takes care of the problem.
It should be done in total darkness-use a blanket to cover the set. From
the manual:
2-1. SCREEN VOLTAGE ADJUSTMENT (G2)
(COARSE ADJUSTMENT)
1. Receive the Monoscope signal..
2. Set BRIGHTNESS to 50% and PICTURE to minimum.
3. Turn the red VR on the focus block all the way to the left and then
gradually turn it to the right until the retrace line is barely visible.
4. Gradually turn the control to the left until the retrace line
disappears.
5. Repeat for green and blue.

Hi guys
The problem is faint retrace lines  on the red color only. Has anyone
seen run across this problem before? I think its too new to be the crt.
any Help will be greatly appreciated
