The cable company probably only has one person knowledgeable enough to fix a
problem by phone, and you'll never get to that person. Doing it yourself may
be the only way.

cable internet

This is the whole problem. The cable techs have tried 4 times to walk
the customer through the setup steps but they keep insisting the network
card is faulty. This is why I'll have to go there myself and talk to the
cable guys. Maybe the customer doesn't understand how to make the
neccessary setting changes?????

Thanks.
