This old console has a 9-160 main board,9-149 space command,9-222 tuner
control (has relay).
I pushed and pushed the power button to no avail. After probiing all the
interconnected cables I retried and it came on with a vertically
stretched picture.
Removed the vert board 9-152-01. ESR'd caps, replaced C2164 910mf/100v)
and C2131 (47mf/35v). this cured the linearity.
Reinstalled it and all is working.
Question to the ol timers!
Is there any known issues with a "hard to turn" on symptom? Start up
cap?
I know this is vague but an old set with a possible intermittant.Ugh.
