For the G2 setup on that set there are some jumpers or switches on the
convergence board & one is labeled G2 setup, just turn the switch on &
adjust each G2 till you can barely see fine lines of each color on the
screen of equeal brilliance. Do this after all 3 guns have been focused &
mirrors & screen cleaned. You should have proper grey scale. Greg

Hi Jeff
I checked the resistors on the 3 crt boards and all three were open
I replaced them (120k) R5102 and the picture is brighter so I will also
check the brightness circuit
and level settings..Previously I could not see the menu but can read
them now.
