I have an older Zenith Stereo with a turntable. Model # IS 4090. The Zenith part number on the turntable is 169-579. There is also a number MT-30-02 on a paper label. Everything works except the Turntable motor stops turning after it runs for a while and has a low buzz coming from the motor. This Unit is belt driven with a Motor that has four wires (2-blacks, white & red.) There is a .22mfd capacitor from the red wire to the white wire, The 2-black wires go to one side of the 120v & the white wire goes to the other side. The motor is round with has a black plastic bottom and is totally sealed. I have checked the capacitor. Does any one possibly have an old turntable laying around with this type of motor that we could buy? I am sure it isn't available but the motor part number would also be helpful. TIA, Dale Dale A.
