Ron,
Take a look of pin 6 of the flyback for diode DX3204 (Zenith part #
103-461A). This diode should connect to that cap. I am pretty sure you will
find this diode is bad and if so, it does cause the pix to shift as you
described.

D.O.M.   1999
PCB: 9-2103
 Came in dead, found CX3212 (102k) burnt on one side.
 Replaced cap with 1000pf@2kv, set powers up with sound tuner and color
pix.The picture is shifted to the left (2in) the two inch area on the right
is being swept.( not pulled in.
 No OSD push menu button see small white box moving from left to right at
the bottom of screen, vert looks ok.Main B+ 128.9.
Any one seen this??
