A Little trick I learned is momentarily short each  crt Cathode R,G,B one at
a time to ground. You should see a bright retrace of that color. If not the
tube is probably toast. Be careful when doing this on other sets but zenith
works fine.

into retrace lines, focus not so hot either. High end of G2 is about 700
volts. These tubes normally didn't give much trouble, being made by Toshiba.
Although it may have had a lot of use. Anybody run into this before or
should I get a new FBT first ?
