Sometimes You Can Just Replace The Resistors If Your Lucky. Ic4008 & Ic4009 Stk392-110 Convergence Amp. R4161, 62,63 & R1460 1ohm Resistor (Red & Blue) Replace Resistors In 9-1303-06 & -05 120k 1/2w Resistor --------------------------------------------------------------- ZENITH 9-1690 Convergence Bad, Then No Video With Lines Dipping From Top. Tv Traders, Inc. Replaced Convergence Module But Still No Video. Replace Open R3243, 110k Resistor On Power Supply. Also Check R3244,82k Per Zenith Tech. --------------------------------------------------------------- ZENITH 9-1690 Convergence Gone - Blows Stks Dick'S Tv - Sharon, Pa Ic4001, 2, Or 3 Can Cause Repeat Failure Of The Output Ics. Before Replacing Stks, & After Replacing The 1 Ohm Resistors, Check For Dc Volts On Pins 6, 14, & 15 Of The Stk. If Any, There'S A Bad Driver Ic. --------------------------------------------------------------- ZENITH 9-1690 Convergence Porblems Will Not Adjust From User Menu Jeff Stielau : 6/1/00 : Shoreline Electronics Change Both Stk392-110 & The Four 1 Ohm Resistors. Resolder The 5v Regulator Ic'S On The Same Heatsink. The 5a Pigtail Fuses On The Main Ps/Sweep Board May Be Open...Check Them. --------------------------------------------------------------- ZENITH 9-1690 Convergence Very Bad, Won'T Adjust.
