[TechAssist] Vicon VCR401 time lapse, stops and displays EEEEEEEE

This happens after running in play for many hours, ** tape remains loaded
but power turns off. If AC is removed and reapplied right away unit will
turn on, head spins, tape unloads and reloads, powers off, EEEEEE remains,
back to **. Unit will not respond to any controls until AC is removed long
enough to reset then it will play all day and well into the night again.
